FAQs

Q?

Is the show just for US Civil War memorabilia & displays?

A.

From the American Revolutionary War to WWII, our show has material, displays, and exhibitors that feature items from all US conflicts.

Q?

How much time should our family plan on spending at the show?

A.

It really depends on the age range and interest level of those attending, put plan on spending a least a few hours at the show to be able to see the exhibits and maybe catch a demonstration or two. Serious collectors and historians will spend the entire weekend at the show.

Q?

Does the show provide security for the exhibitors?

A.

The organizers of the OCWS understand the potential dangers and value of much of the material on display and are committed to the safety of our visitors and the security of our exhibitors. We take no chances and have a very sufficient staff of security officers.

Q?

What hotels and restaurants are available in the area?

A.

In addition to great on-site food vendors we have many great dining options within just a few minutes of the show. Hotel accommodations should be made as soon as possible. Although we have many great hotels in the area (see our location page for a map) rooms fill up quickly. We have blocked out a number of rooms at several hotels, give us a call to learn more.
